This entry has no structure information.
To add it, be sure the Wikipedia entry contains a valid CAS number in its "Chembox", "Chembox new", "Drugbox", or "Explosivebox" template.
Even with a valid CAS number, structural information may not appear because of limitations in Chempedia's database. Stay tuned for developments in this area.
Ceftobiprole (brand name Zeftera) is a next generation cephalosporin antibiotic with activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, penicillin-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Enterococci. It was discovered by Basilea Pharmaceutica and was developed by Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development. It has been shown to be statistically non-inferior to the combination of vancomycin and ceftazidime for the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections.
