Clorazepate (marketed under the brand names Tranxene and Tranxilium), is a drug which is a benzodiazepine derivative. It possesses anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, sedative and skeletal muscle relaxant properties. Clorazepate was discontinued in February 2006 in the United Kingdom.
